Habakkuk 2:2-3 tells us “Then the Lord replied: ‘Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false…”
This new website represents an opportunity for all of us to contribute to the mandate above: to write the revelation and make it plain so that all who read it may be able to take the Word, apply it to their hearts, and launch forward into the mission whole heartedly, having been strengthened by our corporate and individual revelations.
I believe that revelation is a gift of the Holy Spirit. I believe that God desires to give his people divine revelation for their empowerment and preparation, and also for His glory. Think about the famous home run by Babe Ruth when he pointed to the center field fence. The man hit hundreds upon hundreds of home runs, yet the most memorable was when he “called his shot.” God desires to give us foreknowledge of his intentions in order to bolster our faith when the eventuality of his faithfulness is realized through the completion of the very works that he revealed to us through his spirit.
Jesus told his disciples “I have told you these things before they happen so that when they do happen, you will believe.” (John 14:29)
Another reason why I’m so excited about what God is doing here is because it gives us the opportunity to share our revelations with one another, thereby strengthening and encouraging each other!
With that, let me encourage you to pour yourself into the Word of God and seek out the hidden wisdom and spiritual understanding that God longs to rain down upon his people. When you get something good, please share it with the rest of us so we can all learn something and be increased in the faith.
James 1:5 says “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.”
