Preparing People for Purposeful Living

Posted by Jonathan Greene 1 COMMENT

Prayer at a Flag Pole“Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,  I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land.”  2 Chronicles 7:14 (NLT)

Starting on May 1, 2008 (National Day of Prayer) through May 11, 2008 (Global Day of Prayer), we will be committing ourselves to join with thousands of others throughout the world in prayer.  We have uploaded an 11 day prayer focus sheet on our downloads page.  Please join us in focusing on the topics provided.

Each day we will publish a post with the focus of that day.  We know that God is going to do great things during this time of global prayer and we want to hear from you.  We would like for you to leave comments of the praise reports that are coming forth from these joint prayers.

Challenge yourself to step outside of your normal routine.  Humble yourself before God.  Expect great things to happen.  Earnestly seek His face.  Do whatever you need to do (fast, wake up earlier, dance, sing, etc.) to join with us praising the name of the Lord and praying for the needs of this world.

Not only do we want change, but we expect it! “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

About Us

Grace Community Fellowship is a ministry that is built upon grace, as evidenced in the favor and ability of God working through the lives of people. We are a community of Spirit-empowered believers in the Lord Jesus Christ working together through a diversity of gifts to fulfill the mandate of Christ to make disciples of all men. Our mission is to empower people to fulfill their God-given potential through knowledge of the Word of God and the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. This is accomplished through the essential ministry components of corporate worship, the communication of biblical truth, and prayer.
