Have you ever felt trapped by a situation? Like there was no way out and any solution that you could think of would only be temporary. Have you had the same problem repeat over and over again in your life? Did you think to yourself, “Why can’t I ever break free from this? I guess that is just who I am.”
Don’t give up, and definitely don’t take ownership of the problem. By saying that the problem is just part of who you are, is opening the door and inviting the problem in to live with you. But with Jesus, we can solve the problem.
“For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16 (NIV)
We have the mind of Christ. We know what He would do to solve the situation that we are in. We just have to seek the solution out and put it into action in our lives. Sounds easy, right?
It is easy, but we struggle with it so much because we have made that problem part of our identity. At some point we have taken our eyes off of Jesus, and put them on this problem. The first step then would be to put your eyes back on Jesus. Stop owning and identifying with the problem, and give it over to Him.
The next step would be to listen to what He has to say. He will give you a solution to your problem. You just have to spend time in the Word and in prayer to hear what it is. Then the next step is where a lot of people stop. You have to implement what was said into your life. If you stop before you implement His word into your life, you will not have truly let go of the problem. But when you do put His word into action, you will receive more than you ever had to give up.
Always remember: You have the mind of Christ!

What if the problem is so big and seems so much a part of you. God is definately big enough, but finding him in all of it seems impossible not to mention the pain of a completely broken heart and feeling let down once again.
Sometimes it is difficult for us for us to see God in the situations in our lives, especially when you are in the midst of the problem. But no matter how much it seems that the problem is a part of you, God is a bigger part of you than that problem. He wants you to trust Him, even cry to Him, but mostly leave your problem with Him.
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3
I believe that Jesus knows what a broken heart feels like. Sometimes when we think about Jesus, we forget that He lived as a man. He felt pain, He had feelings, and He had to trust God. Imagine how Jesus felt when He knew that Judas Iscariot would betray Him? He had spent a lot of time with this man. He discipled him, traveled with him, ate with him, washed his feet. I think the man Jesus probably felt a little let down, but He knew that this was all a part of the Father’s ultimate plan.
You have to have faith that God has a plan for you and He will see you through this situation. He will comfort you and He will send people into your life to comfort you.
