Preparing People for Purposeful Living

Calling to GodFor “Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? ~ Romans 10:13-14

We all hope that everyone we know will be saved. But are we doing anything about it? The above verse tells us that we have to tell someone about the Lord so that they may believe in Him. Then once they believe in Him, they can call on Him and they will be saved.

You don’t have to travel around the world to tell people, you can tell the people that you see every day. Have you told all of your friends about the Lord? A lot of the time, we just assume that our friends have heard about Him and just have not chosen to believe in Him yet. Well this is a bad assumption. They might have heard something (maybe not the truth) but you will never know unless YOU tell them. Then once you tell them, continue showing them Jesus through the way that you live. Be open and willing to answer their questions, and continue to pray for them to believe in Him. This is the only way for you to truly know that they have been told about God.

About Us

Grace Community Fellowship is a ministry that is built upon grace, as evidenced in the favor and ability of God working through the lives of people. We are a community of Spirit-empowered believers in the Lord Jesus Christ working together through a diversity of gifts to fulfill the mandate of Christ to make disciples of all men. Our mission is to empower people to fulfill their God-given potential through knowledge of the Word of God and the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. This is accomplished through the essential ministry components of corporate worship, the communication of biblical truth, and prayer.
