“My nose is too big. I’m too tall. I can’t sing. I can’t do math.” Have you ever looked in the mirror and thought or said negative things about yourself? Many of us have done it, and then we wonder why God made us so awkward.
Genesis 1:31 says, “Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was excellent in every way.” The Bible doesn’t say that He looked over everything and thought, “I really should make that duck a little prettier.” No, the Bible says that He saw that everything He created was EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY. That includes us.
So, we should not be negative about how God made us because He made us EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY. Who are we to say that we should be one way or another? God created us and every ability that we have was given to us by Him. Instead of focusing on the parts that you don’t like about yourself, challenge yourself to focus on all of your excellent qualities. There is not one area that we should lack because God has made us EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY.
